12 Photos

These are my 12 photos, the first 4 are my portrait pictures. I am not really sure how I like how they had turned out but I like that I was able to get my dog to look at me. 5 and 6 are my landscape photos and I really like the tilt on the picture number 5. 7 and 8 are with the macro setting. I LOVE both of them. I really like the contrasting colors of the sky and the hoop. I only wish I had used the rule of thirds. 9 and 10 are texture and line. With the texture of the leaf on the grass I like how there is still green grass, and then the smooth leaf, plus the snow. I makes for an interesting picture. The line photo is of a tunnel leading the the light at the end. I like the detail of the ice that is seen in the tunnel. Finally 11 and 12 are of thing I don't like... both are of littering, but, 11 is of a cigarette by the side of the road. I strongly dislike smokers so that is why I have that one. The last on is of a snickers wrapper at the SLMS on the playground. Let's just say it is my dislike of littering and the building in general.

Apature and Shutter Modes

MY dad was making bread so I tries to get a picture of the blender thingy. The one above is what I was originally aiming for. I wanted to try and catch the movement.

This is done with ISO 400 and done with the A thingy. I Like it but it is so dark... I think I could Lighten It in Photo Shop though.

This one was still ISO 400 but I had to play with white balance. It is strangly blurry in the front and crisp in the back...sorta. Not to sure what I think of this one.

So I ended up discovering the shutter mode and was thrilled. This was the first one I took and I like how clear it turned out. don't know what I did to get it this way though!

So since I figured out the shutter mode I wanted to see what it would do an a moving object. The Best thing avilable was the fan. I messed with the lighting and this was the end product.

How My Mom Sees Me

As a mother my mom has kept me busy with swim, rock climbing, and lacrosse. She also has hopes that I will be able to follow my dreams and climb up to something higher in life. I am the song bird in the house always singing and if I am not singing I am reading. Normally I am really hyper but there are times where i have been caught daydreaming. I have an obsession with the sky, whether it be at night or during the day.  It is a little cluttered because I have a problem as a pack rat and sometimes (usually at home) have no sense of organization. All the layers are because there is more to me than meets the eye. My mom knows me better than I would like sometimes and this is how she sees me all the layers and quirks that make me me.

ISO

This one was taken at ISO 400 and with the cloudy wb. It is a little dark for me so I will need to lighten it up in photoshop if i wanted it to be the way I had planed.
This is of a candel holder in front of my fire place. I was looking for a warmer tone so I put the setting on cloudy for the wb and it was ISO 50.

ISO 200 and I put it on a wb I don't knoe the name of.

This was ISO 100 and it turned out soft. I really like this one becuse it isn't washed out as it would be if I had the flash on.

Compensation Photos

Don't ask me what I did...I just was playing with the settings.
I like these photos because I was able to use various settings and managed to get som decent pictures, which is hard to do with my camera. The top one is a little dark and the flaming logs are blurry but otherwise i like the pictures. My favorite is the tree against the sky. I like how the branches look almost black against the bright blue sky. It makes me feel like I am stetching up to the sky. The last one is a little white to me but it was the clearest on I took of that lovely log. It is a cold picture.
